- The 3 biggest cities in the NHL have 1 Championship between them in the last 45 years. Rangers won in 1994, Blackhawk’s in 1961 and Kings never.
- If you compare that to the NBA over the last 45 years there would be 17 Championships from New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
- Also if your compare that to MLB over the last 45 years there would be 15 Championships from the 3 major markets in their league.
